Around 3:00 p.m. Saturday, units responded to a report of a vehicle thatcrashed off State Highway 1 in San Mateo County, and plummeted about100 yards over a cliff, CHP Officer Eric Anderson told the Bay City News.
The victim, male, was airlifted from the scene near Pescadero State Beach, and remained in intensive care Sunday afternoon, CHP Officer Arturo Montielsaid.
Areas of the highway were blocked for more than three hours while teamsresponded to the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
