New Cop Show to Be Shot in the City

ABC series "True Blue" will follow SFPD homicide cops

Move over, Trauma. There's a new TV show about first responders in town. Word has it that ABC is filming a new show called True Blue, set in San Francisco.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show follows a group of San Francisco homicide detectives who reunite to solve the murder of a colleague. No word on whether the City's real-life crime lab kerfuffle will thicken the show's plot.

The cast includes Scott Foley, Malcom-Jamal Warner, Ana Ortiz, and Buffy's Marc Blucas. Expect to get an eyeful. The show's character descriptions bounce from "gruffly handsome" to "beautiful and hard-working" to "movie-star good looks" to "handsome" to "sexy" to "late 20s and beautiful." Quite a range!

Don't expect to catch the crew around town much, though. Filming in San Francisco is expected to take no more than five days.
