Firearms as well as bomb components found in Vallejo.

Send them to the rear of the class -- and then the brig.

A pair of California Maritime Academy students were arrested Saturday night on guns and explosives charges, according to the Vallejo Times-Herald.

Esteban Ugarte, 29, and Nicholas Salazar, 32, are accused of possessing a pile of weapons and explosives, according to reports.

Police arrived at their home on the 200 block of Florida street after receiving reports of two males shooting at trash cans with high-powered rifles, according to the newspaper.

When police arrived, they found "eight firearms, including a rifle and a revolver, as well as the components for making pipe bombs," according to police.

The pair were arrested and are in custody as of the weekend, the newspaper reported.
