Cops Use Taser on Unruly Youth Football Dad

Police applied the Taser to a "belligerent" man at a youth football game this weekend.

An overzealous parent of a youth football player was subdued with a Taser following a dispute with his child's coach, according to reports.

Police in Salinas responded to a report of a disturbance at North Salinas High School at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday. There, they found David Ray Camel, 41, "in a fighting stance," according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Cops tried to calm Camel down, who apparently had squabbled with a coach. But Camel instead "took off his shirt and clenched his fiss," the newspaper reported. The "belligerent" man was Tasered and taken into custody, the newspaper reported.

He "apparently mixed medication with alcohol," the newspaper reported.
