The coroner has been called to the scene of a big-rig crash on an Interstate Highway 880 to 680 connecting ramp in Fairfield this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The big-rig overturned on the eastbound 80 to southbound 680 connector at 4:39 p.m., the CHP said.
The ramp is closed because of the overturned truck as well as debris and liquid spilled on the roadway. It is unclear what time the ramp will reopen.
A coroner has been called to the scene, the CHP said.
