• Equal time Monday, Apr 27 at 2:35 PM FLAG COMMENT In my beautiful southern California Beach community we have a dog park and will soon have a dog beach where people can take their dogs to run free and urinate and poop all over the place - which ends up in a river and then the ocean, but I, a smoker, have no place to go! Smoking is banned on all beaches, parks, restaurants, bars, etc. How about a smoker's park and a smoker's beach!!! I just want a small piece of what has been taken away. ... MORE >

• lost in the fog Sunday, Mar 15 at 11:04 PM FLAG COMMENT I live in a building a converted victorian house made into 3 apartments and there is "no smoking in the apartments or withing 20 feet of any apt with will bother other people" in our lease and the people down stairs smoke all the time, and the smoke come up into our apartment and the landlord will do nothing. Basically two teen age girls moved in 3 years ago and the apt downstairs became "Party central" noise all the time, smoke billowing into our apt all the time. I'm sick the landlords knows I'm sick the girls downstairs know I'm sick and now they are gettting all the party people, smokers and drinkers on their side and we are going to get kicked out of our apartment because they are getting people to say they do not smoke in their apartment. I have to wear a surgical like mask to try and keep their smoke out of my body because it makes me sick to my stomach. We were going to take them to court but it looks like they are going to have all the people they can find on their side including the landlord, a smoker and boozer. I don't care if people smoke of drink I just don't want my apt to smell like a cheap bar, in the days when people could smoke in bars, My apt reeks of booze and smoke and pot smoke, I don't care I don't want it in my apt and now I'm going to look like a jerk because I smoke up and I'm going to loose our apt because I tried to stand up for our selves, including our pet, who is dying of some thing... the vet can't figure it our, our pet does not leave the apt., could our beloved pet be dying of smoke, or stress from all the noise? who cares right, who cares about me, I'm old, i'm sick,put me on an ice float and adios, ... I have a 9 months old baby, who would like to breath. It's rediculous. Im not sure who to contact. i know there is a ban on smoking within so many feet, and my apartment does not inforce that law.
