Cowgirl Rustels Up Bank Loot: FBI

The FBI is searching for a woman who dressed in a cowgirl outfit while carrying out a robbery at a Bank of the West branch in Sacramento.

Investigators released the photo MOnday, but the hold up happened on July 23 at a bank office at 2581 Fair Oaks Blvd.

Just before the bank was to close at 6 p.m. the suspect entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding cash, authorities said.

The FBI said the woman also placed a small, dark-colored handbag on the teller counter and from a small hole at the bottom of the bag, the teller could see the black barrel of a handgun pointed directly at her.

The teller handed her the money and the woman left the bank headed in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as white, 50 to 60 years old, and about 5 feet 5 inches tall. She has a thin build. She was wearing a cream-colored 10-gallon-style cowboy hat, a long-sleeve plaid button-down shirt, blue jeans and dark sunglasses.
