Two firefighters were taken to hospitals in stable condition after two Daly City fire trucks collided, Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

A fire truck and a fire engine responding to a call Wednesday morning were involved in a traffic collision in Daly City that sent two firefighters to the hospital with injuries, a fire inspector said.

The collision was called in at 9:18 a.m. at the intersection of Crocker Avenue and Brunswick Street, North County Fire Inspector Klaus Zolinskis said.

The two firefighters were taken to hospitals and were listed in stable condition.

The intersection was blocked for much of the day.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Zolinskis said.
