A 15-year-old Pittsburg student died Sunday during a De La Salle basketball game.

Darius Jones collapsed during a game at Diablo Valley College.  People at the scene gave him CPR prior to an ambulance taking him to John Muir Medical Center, where he  was pronounced dead.

The sheriff's office will not be making any determination as to his cause of death until they receive results from toxicology tests, which can take four to six weeks, Contra  Costa County sheriff's Capt. Daniel Terry said.

A spokesperson for the school, a private, Catholic high school in Concord, was not immediately available for comment.
