A person in a wheelchair was struck and killed in Oakland early Monday, police said.
The fatal collision was reported at about 5:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of 40th Street.
Authorities continue to keep 40th Street between Adeline and Linden Streets closed while they investigate the crash.
No other information was available at the time.
