Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore Closed Due to Flooding Concerns

Del Valle Regional Park in East Livermore will be closed through March 3 due to potential flooding from recent heavy rain, park officials said Friday.

The East Bay Regional Park District is keeping an eye on the high water levels at the park's Del Valle Lake. The campground and marina at the park are included in the closure.

Del Valle's five-mile-long lake is a state-owned reservoir operated by the Department of Water Resources. The park district operates recreational amenities that include the campground, marina and hiking trails.

Campground cancellations and rescheduling can be made by calling (888) 327-2757, option 2.

Updates on the status of the park can be found at the East Bay Regional Park District.
