Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine will be in Bay Area next Wednesday for three fundraisers.
In the late morning on Sept. 21, soon after his arrival, Hillary Clinton's running mate will head to Atherton for a roundtable at the home of Democratic National Committee operative Steve Spinner, who also is an adviser to congressional candidate Ro Khanna.
Kaine will then have lunch at the Atherton home of Jillian Manus, an event co-hosted by Meg Whitman, the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and a staunch Republican.
In the afternoon Kaine is scheduled to attend an event in San Francisco, at an undisclosed location.
