Democratic VP Hopeful Kaine Makes Quick Bay Area Fundraising Swing

Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine made a fundraising swing through the Bay Area on Sunday.

Hillary Clinton's running mate spent the afternoon on the Peninsula, starting at noon with "A Conversation With Tim Kaine" at the home of Doug and Dawn Hickey in San Francisco, where attendees paid a minimum of $1,000.

Kaine then motored down to the Portola Valley home of Linda Yates and Paul Holland between 2 and 4 p.m., with a minimum $1,000 contribution.

Finally, Kaine spent the early evening at Atherton home of Liz Simons and Mark Heising, with a minimum contribution of $33,400.

Clinton will be making her own Bay Area swing Wednesday.
