A San Mateo County Sheriff's deputy patrol car crashed into a light blue Toyota in front of an auto body shop on Monday morning in San Carlos.
About 9:30 a.m., the sheriff's department tweeted out a picture of the scene, saying that southbound El Camino Real, from Olive Street to Arroyo Avenue was closed during the investigation of the pursuit crash.
Who was being chased and why was not immediately disclosed.
The sheriff's Twitter account said that there were only minor injuries involved.
