Police are on the lookout for a suspect who fled a San Francisco doughnut shop early Monday morning who they say hit and shot a person.

Officers were called to Happy Donut, located at 2600 Bayshore Boulevard, at around 3 a.m. after reports of a shot being fired by a suspect who tried to rob the store.

The suspect was stabbed during the argument with the store owner, though it is unclear whether the shooting or the stabbing happened first.

The doughnut shop owner is expected to survive, while the suspect remains at large.
