EPA Police Officers Claim Racial Discrimination by Former Chief

Former Palo Alto Police Chief Ron Davis.

Four black East Palo Alto police officers are claiming they suffered racial discrimination at the hands of their former chief.

The former chief, Ron Davis, is also African-American.

According to the Palo Alto Daily News, the discrimination complaint from Nov. 1 accuses him of creating a hostile environment for African-American employees.

Davis served as chief for more than eight years before leaving for a federal position.
