Earthquake Shakes Sonoma County Early Wednesday

3.1-magnitude struck two miles north of the Geysers.

A 3.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded early Wednesday morning in Sonoma County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor struck two miles north of the Geysers, which is about 25 miles north of Santa Rosa, at 12:57 a.m., according to the USGS.

The quake had a depth of 2.1 miles.
