    East Bay Regional Park District Names Officer, Dispatcher of the Year

    The East Bay Regional Park District recently recognized two law enforcement employees as Officer of the Year and Dispatcher of Year, district officials announced Friday.

    Barry Lindsey was named Officer of the Year, and Stacey Kenney was named Dispatcher of the Year.
    Lindsay has been with the district since 2008 and is a member of the department's special enforcement unit.

    He patrols parks and trails in the greater Tri-Valley area on motorcycle and on horseback.

    Kenney started work was a full-time dispatcher in 1989. She answers 911 calls and dispatches police and fire crews in addition to other duties.

    The two employees were recognized for their hard work, good attitude and all-around professionalism, district officials said.
