In a move that is certain to win over voters in the politically correct San Francisco -- if he was running -- Mayor Ed Lee has turned in his hybrid for an even greener car.
Lee made headlines when he famously parked former Mayor Gavin Newsom's black hybrid SUV and jumped in a Ford hybrid Fusion.
Now Lee is at it again. The mayor has once again ditched his car for an even greener one. Now instead of driving around in a hybrid, the mayor is going to be cruising around in an electric Chevy Volt.
The move comes as Lee pushes the City to provide more free electric-charging stations to further reduce the need for oil.
