El Cerrito High School was evacuated due to a bomb threat that was called in Tuesday morning, according to police.
It is unclear whether the threat to the school at 540 Ashbury Ave. is credible, but police said they were evacuating out of caution.
Police eventually cleared the campus and students returned to class.
