The connector ramp from northbound Interstate Highway 880 to southbound U.S. Highway 101 was closed Tuesday for four hours in San Jose for emergency repairs, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Sig-alert was issued at 4:14 a.m. and the ramp is estimated to reopen around 5 p.m., according to the CHP. However, in a surprise move, officials opened the ramp about 8:30 a.m. to all traffic.
