Exterminator Poser Kicks, Robs Woman: Police

A man posing as an exterminator kicked and robbed a 61-year-old woman in her Chinatown apartment on Friday morning, San Francisco police said.

he robbery was reported at about 9 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of Grant Avenue, according to police.

The man was outside the woman's apartment and said he was there to spray for bugs. When the woman let him inside, he started rifling through her purse and took cash from her wallet, police said.

The woman tried to stop the man, described as being between 30 and 40 years old, by grabbing his arm but he kicked her in the stomach and ran away, police said.
