FBI Fugitive May Be Looking For Job in the Bay Area

Federal law enforcement agencies are seeking the public’s help in locating a Bay Area fugitive.

The FBI and US Marshals are asking for the public's help in finding a fugitive who may be seeking employment as a software engineer in the Bay Area.

Authorities are looking for Bruce Lee Marshall, who has also been known to use the aliases "Francois Marshall" and "Francois Delacroix,” according to the FBI in San Francisco.

Authorities say, while employed at a San Francisco educational software company, Marshall allegedly established a fictitious company then convinced his employer to hire it. Based on the fake contract he is accused of creating, Marshall had the fictitious company collect over $100,000 in cash from the company he worked for.

The 38-year-old from San Francisco is wanted for mail fraud. After he was indicted, Marshall left the halfway house he was assigned to and has been a fugitive since May 17.

According to the feds, Marshall was previously arrested and pleaded guilty to a charge of falsely altering a United States passport.

Marshall is described as a black male, 5’10”, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to wear dark-rimmed glasses and has ties to San Diego and the state of Georgia.

Anyone with information about Marshall’s identity or his whereabouts is asked to contact their nearest FBI office or dial 911. Tips can also be submitted at tips.fbi.gov
