A fallen tree blocked a portion of Veterans Boulevard in San Francisco Monday afternoon, but it was cleared ahead of the evening commute, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The tree came down just before 1:30 p.m. on a white Ford Escort that was headed south on Veterans Boulevard, just north of the MacArthur Tunnel in the city's Presidio District, CHP officials said.
No one was injured. The tree blocked both southbound lanes and parts of northbound lanes for about 90 minutes.
