Vallejo police are investigating a motel shooting Sunday evening that left one man dead and another in the hospital.
Police received a report of the shooting at around 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Johnson motor lodge at 42 Admiral Callaghan Ln. When they arrived, they found two men shot.
One man was shot several times, and he was declared dead at the scene. The other man was shot in the head and was taken to a nearby trauma hospital, police said.
No word on his condition.
