A popular San Francisco French restuarant suffered fire damage Friday morning, though firefighters were able to contol the two-alarm blaze at Chez Spencer in about an hour.

The fire broke out about 1:30 a.m. at the Inner Mission District restaurant at 82 14th Street near Folsom Street. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Chez Spencer features a wood burning stove and opened in 2002.

This fire comes after the world renownded Chez Panisse in Berkeley suffered fire damage on March 6. That restaurant is expected to open on June 10.
