Firefighters Battle 3-Alarm House Fire in Palo Alto

Firefighters are battling a three-alarm fire Saturday afternoon at a Palo Alto home.

At 11:49 a.m. fire officials said on Twitter that firefighters were at the scene of a structure fire on the 1100 block of Bryant Avenue.

Flames appeared to be coming from the two-story home's attic and were also hidden in the property's walls, according to fire officials.

The fire was upgraded from two to three alarms because of the house's proximity to other properties, they said.

The home's residents were safely evacuated, fire officials said, warning commuters of potential delays.

No other information was immediately available.
