Two-Alarm Blaze in SF's Mission District Affects Two Dozen

Twenty one people were affected and two firefighters suffered minor injuries battling a two-alarm blaze in San Francisco's Mission District Friday morning, according to the city's fire department.

Crews were initially dispatched to a structure fire at a four-story building in the 100 block of Poplar Street at 9:32 a.m., according to a post on San Francisco Fire Department's Twitter.

Shortly before 10 a.m., the fire department reported that two firefighters suffered minor injuries, specifically, cuts, while working to control the blaze.

The fire was under control about 10:20 a.m.
