Among the 245 "suspected child porn producers" caught up in a federal law enforcement sweep last month are five Bay Area residents, according to reports.

In Operation Sunflower, federal law enforcement rescued 44 children from abusers and arrested 37 suspected abusers in California, the most of any state, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Arrests were made in San Jose, San Leandro, San Francisco, and Sonoma County.

Michael Lindsay, 53, of San Jose, was arrested Nov. 8 while on his way to the Philippines. He was accused of having sexual contact with a 13-year old girl in that country.
