San Francisco police are confirming that multiple people have been shot on the 1000 block of Market street, where the annual gay pride celebration was held over the weekend.

Police received a call at 6:14pm with reports that one man had been shot in the leg.

A total of five people are in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It appears that two groups of males were fighting with each other when the shots rang out.

Subsequent reports indicate it was mostly teenagers involved.
