The 49ers' star running back is trying his hand at a new profession: Boxing.
Frank Gore will enter the ring Saturday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. for a championship fight.
No need to worry 49ers' fans. Gore will not be the one fighting. Instead the veteran running back will hold the WBO super bantamweight belt for his friend Nonito Donaire.
The two became friends while working on their speed together with coach Remi Korchemny.
Gore will not be the first celebrity to carry a belt into the ring for a fighter.
Justin Bieber carried Floyd Mayweather's belt into the ring before one his fights earlier this year in Las Vegas.
