Giants Fan Could Be 'Fan Cave' Tenant

A 21-year-old San Jose woman is in the running to serve in Major League Baseball’s Fan Cave.

If Ally Williams wins she will be whisked away to New York City where she and a “wingman” will have to watch every single one of the upcoming 2,430 regular season games plus every Postseason game -- and then chronicle their experience.

If she wins, Williams would be expected to blog and make videos about her experience. She would also get regular visits from Major League players and celebrities.

The San Francisco Examiner talked to Williams. She is in Phoenix right now for a “boot camp” leading up to next week’s selection of a winner. She’s competing against 29 other baseball fans. You can follow along at MLBFanCave.com .
