Two Bay Area teams will battle it out today for golf supremacy. The Giants and the 49ers will go head to head this afternoon in the Google Charity Shoot-out at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The two-man teams will be Jerry Rice/Brent Jones and Harris Barton/Dwight Clark for the 49ers against Mike Krukow/Duane Kuiper and Cody Ross/Matt Cain for the Giants.

They will play alternate shot format on five holes. Each hole is worth $20,000. The Giants will donate half of their winnings to the Giants Community Fund and the 49ers will donate their half to the 49ers Foundation. The other half of the winnings will be spread out between the American Heart Association, CALSTAR, Sunrise House and Interim, Inc.
