Gilroy PD Arrest Homicide Suspect in San Jose



    Gilroy police announced Saturday officers arrested a third person suspected of a double shooting earlier this month. 

    Jesse Emmanuel Silos, a 30 year-old resident of Firebaugh, was killed on April 3 after being shot on Chestnut Street in Gilroy. Another unidentified man was also shot, but survived.

    Friday night police arrested Juan Guerra, 21,  without incident in San Jose. 

    On April 8, Gilroy police arrested Jose Cortez and a 17-year old also in connection with the homicide. 

    Police said there are no outstanding suspects associated to the homicide, which they said was gang related.
