A 6-year-old girl is recovering after being hit by stray bullets from a drive-by shooting as she was sleeping in her home.

A 6-year-old girl is recovering after being hit by stray bullets from a drive-by shooting as she was sleeping in her home.

The shooting happened near Seminary Avenue and East 16th Street in Oakland at about 2:15 a.m. Monday. Someone who lives in the house told us bullets hit the girl's pillow. She was struck in her arm and side and she is expected to be OK.

Police had still not arrested anyone as of about 6 a.m.
