A suspect has been detained for smashing the glass at a BART station agent booth in San Leandro, a BART spokesperson said.
No BART employees were inside the enclosed service counter when the glass was shattered and no injuries were reported, BART Communications Department Manager Alicia Trost said.
BART police are currently conducting an investigation.
