Go Country in Sonoma

Country music fans have a reason to go hog wild today as the Bay  Area hosts its first major country music festival in Sonoma County.
The inaugural Sonoma Country Music BBQ will bring country stars  like Dierks Bentley, Thompson Square and Luke Bryan to the Sonoma County  Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa this afternoon.
Barbecue artisans will sell mouthwatering ribs, chicken, and  tri-tip beef to concertgoers. Thirsty patrons can wash down the meat with  beer from local breweries.
The Sonoma Country Music BBQ, which is presented by country music  station Froggy 92.9 FM, also includes performances by PETE [stringfellow] and  16-year-old Santa Rosa native McKenna Faith.
Doors open at 2 p.m. and the first act begins at 4 p.m. on the  Great Lawn at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, located at 1350 Bennett Valley  Road in Santa Rosa. Tickets will be available at the door for $55.
