Little Caesars Pizza Employee Shot in El Cerrito Robbery

Police in the East Bay are looking for the men who robbed a Little Caesars Pizza in El Cerrito.

Two men walked into the San Pablo Avenue store Monday night and demanded money from an employee. One of the men was armed with a handgun and shot the employee, police said.

The men fled with cash and were last seen running from the shopping area's parking lot, according to police. They are described as being in their 20s or 30s and can be seen in surveillance video wearing dark sweatshirts with their hoods covering their faces.

The employee was rushed to the hospital. "She will basically be okay," El Cerrito police Lt. R.
DeLaCampa said Tuesday.
