HP's failed TouchPad will sell in the company's eBay store for $99 ahead of the holidays.

For a limited time, HP will be bringing back its 16GB and 32GB Touchpad with webOS operating system this coming Sunday in its eBay store.

The fine print: the Touchpads are refurbished units. But ladies, fellas, they're $99 and $149, respectively. That's still better than most Black Friday tablet deals from a few weeks ago.

Matt Burns reporting for TechCrunch says that the Touchpads will go on sale on Dec. 11 at 6:00 p.m. on HP's eBay store.

Supplies will no doubt be limited. Each eBay member will be restricted to only buying two units and you MUST use a PayPal account to make the purchase.

All sales will be final and each Touchpad will come with a 90-day warranty.

My friends, Sunday is likely the last chance to pick up a Touchpad for this cheap. $99 is a steal.

There are rumors that HP might revive its Touchpad business as a Windows 8 tablet.

In October, HP CEO Meg Whitman said that the company "needs to be in the tablet business."
