Have A Favorite San Jose Place? Win Free Dinner And a Movie

San Jose residents can have a night out in return for giving their opinion.

To make downtown San Jose more of a place to be, San Jose city officials are preparing to woo the public.

Free dinner and a movie is in store for you — all you have to do is name your favorite place.

The public is invited to attend a free meal offering at the City Hall Plaza Rotunda from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 12, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

There, they'll be wowed with a screening of "The Human Scale," a documentary on cityscapes and how to deal with building an inviting city, the newspaper reported.

For noshes, there's a "street food feast," according to the paper — and then the opportunity to tell architectuer firm Gehl Studio and The Tech Museum of Innovation what their favorite place is.
