Construction continues on levee repair work on Highway 37 in Marin County. Though there has been progress, there have been no changes to roadway conditions, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Water is covering both lanes of eastbound Highway 37 and it is unclear when the road will reopen, said CHP in a Facebook post Sunday.
Currently, Westbound Highway 37 is closed from Atherton Ave to U.S. Highway 101. The eastbound right lane is closed from U.S. Highway 101 to just west of Atherton Ave.
Beginning Monday morning there will be extra units to control traffic in the area on Atherton Ave.
