Hit-And-Run Crash Kills Motorcyclist in San Francisco

An initial report said the motorcyclist crashed into a metal divider.

A motorcyclist died early Sunday morning following a hit-and-run crash in San Francisco.

At 2:15 a.m., fire officials received a report of a crash involving a motorcycle on southbound San Jose Avenue, near Monterey Boulevard, heading toward Interstate Highway 280, according to a fire dispatcher.

Police and fire personnel responded to the incident. An initial report said the motorcycle crashed into a metal divider, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Further details were not immediately available.
