“Hot Cop of the Castro” Doing “Ice Bucket Challenge” for Charity

Ice bucket challenge? Nope. The Castro's buff policeman is doing one better

Officer Chris Korhs of the San Francisco Police Department -- also known as the "Hot Cop of the Castro" will be participating in the "Ice Bucket Challenge" to raise money for charity, according to SFist.

For $30, you can witness the 36-year-old cop in person, "wearing something skimpy and having buckets of ice thrown on him" at The Cafe, the website reported. The show will benefit the Officer Down Foundation, a charity that helps family members of police officers killed in the line of duty.

The show may also benefit those who qualify as "top contributors" to the cause -- they'll receive a vaguely-defined extra-special bonus in "helping" Korhs prepare for the evening, Castro Biscuit reported.

It all goes down at 6 p.m. on Aug. 18.
