State Highway 29 reopened Sunday evening after being closed nearly all day due to a homicide investigation in a rural area in Napa County, according to the Napa County Sheriff's office.

The highway reopened at around 5:15 p.m., sheriff's officials said.

A woman in her mid- to late 50s was found injured in the southbound lane of Highway 29 near Old Lawley Toll Road around 4:45 a.m., deputies said.
