Hearing on PG&E Gas Pipeline Safety Scheduled for Monday

Worries about PG&E natural gas pipelines prompted officials to schedule a hearing Monday morning.

This all comes after San Carlos officials said they learned about an unsafe pipeline by reading about in the newspaper, not hearing it from PG&E.

PG&E workers e-mailed concerns that San Carlos could be vulnerable to an explosion, similar to the one that rocked San Bruno three years ago.

San Carlos did not find out  about the concerns until about a year after the e-mails were sent.
