A legendary Peninsula restaurant is gone. But not forgotten.
Ming’s in Palo Alto closed in December after 58 years.
On Tuesday, much of the restaurant appliances and decorations went on sale at a public auction.
Among the items available: serving dishes and kitchen items, as well as a mirror with a carved wooden frame that belonged to the Asian collection at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
