A jogger found the body of a woman around 5:55 a.m. Wednesday at Ocean Beach, the San Francisco Fire Department has confirmed to NBA Bay Area.
Mindy Talmadge with San Francisco Fire said that the body was of a fully-clothed approximately 50-year-old woman who was found at the water line on the beach near Stairwell 15, which is located across from Beach Chalet.
The medical examiner's office is currently investigating the cause of the death and whether any foul play was involved. The scene was cleared by 7:36 a.m., Talmadge said.
