Martin Jones and the Sharks opened up their regular season slate with a 5-3 home loss in San Jose as they couldn't fight off the Flyers' attack.
Jones allowed four goals.
For the Sharks, Kevin Labanc scored twice and Logan Couture also found the back of the net.
