For most of us, we'll put in the work, we'll put in the years and then we'll hope to ease into retirement.

John Force isn't like most of us. The king of drag racing visited Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco Wednesday to promote next week's event at the Sonoma Raceway.

Force is a 16-time National Hot Rod Association funny car champion and is the winningest driver in drag racing history. But as of Wednesday, he is winless this season.

Conventional wisdom would lead you to believe that father time has finally caught up with the 67 year old. But to force, age is just a number.

"I'm going to come up here knowing that somebody is going to win this race and these categories and we've got a shot at it. I love doing it. I never get tired," Force said. "I'm going to bring my heart, and my kids, and my grandkids, and my wife, and we're going to come in here and we're going to entertain these folks."
