Last Chance to Dump Christmas Tree

Those of you who still have your browning Christmas trees sitting in your livingroom, tomorrow is your last chance to send it off to Christmas Tree Heaven.

According to the SF Examiner, tomorrow is your final opportunity to make sure your tree gets off to a waste-energy facility that will turn it into fuel.

“It’s producing electricity and keeping materials out of landfills,” said David Reed, a spokesman for Recology San Francisco.

The trees are gathered during regular trash pickups, but if you missed your usual pickup, you can drop it off at the dump, located on Tunnel Ave in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood.
